Cy's Hoof and Horn

So, this is going to be another post about food. I warned you. 😀
I had a chance to have lunch with a dear friend yesterday and we decided to go to Cy's Hoof and Horn. Cy's is located in Sedgwick, KS (just a short drive north from Wichita). Cy's is known as "A True Kansas Restuarant" that specializes in Chicken Fried Steak and Hand Cut House Steaks.
You know you are at good ole Kansas restaurant when the walls are decorated with animal mounts. My favorite is the bison.
Their menu includes your typical Midwest foods, including chicken livers, fried okra, of course chicken fried steak, and a great choice of hamburgers. They also offer some great fish selections, including salmon and mahi mahi. Their lunch menu even includes quite a few Mexican options. I opted for the steak fingers with sweet potato fries, and it was scrumptious. Cy's also offers daily specials, and on Wednesdays, they have $5.99 burgers and 1/2 price drinks.
Cy's is another great restaurant that encompasses the down home friendly atmosphere that Kansas is known for. Be sure and check it out sometime!
