Not too far from my post yesterday, Monument Rocks are another must see in Kansas.
Monument Rocks are located in Gove County and are 25 miles south of Oakley Kansas.
Like Castle Rock, these chalk formations were formed many years ago by a sea...this reminds me of a very familiar Bible story. :)
While there is not as much to explore here as at Castle Rock Badlands, it is still worth a visit. The formations are breathtaking and worth seeing.
