Well, I was supposed to be blogging about a hike at an amazing Kansas trail this weekend but Kansas weather decided to hit. ❄️🌨️🌧️💧
Kansas weather...🤣
So, instead of blogging about the hike (it will get rescheduled...stay tuned!) I'm going to blog about another amazing location I've visited in the past.
Mushroom Rock State Park.
Mushroom Rock State Park is located in Ellsworth County outside of Brookville, KS.
Mushroom Rock is one of the 8 Wonders of Kansas Geography. It is also one of the smallest State Parks in Kansas (only 5 acres).
There are two main rocks that are mushroom shaped and then many other rocks to explore. While it may be a small park, it is worth the visit.
I also love the scenery surrounding Mushroom Rock State Park. I took a couple of my favorite pictures here.
Again, I can't believe that rocks and formations like these are right in the center of our state. It's an amazing sight to see.
